Star & Co is a strong and experienced Chartered Accounting practice operating from offices in Sydney & Young NSW.
The practice was founded in Sydney by Judith Star more than 20 years ago, and currently employs a highly talented and specialised team of accountants.
Our regional office at Young NSW, was set up in 2012 and is managed by our long time associate Sally Richard. This office provides the tangible link back to our traditional country values.
We provide clients with high level personalised attention, assisted by our expertly trained staff and a network of specialist advisors. Principal - Sydney Office - Judith Star B.Comm, DipFP, C.A
Judith founded the Star & Co practice in Sydney after working in a Chartered business recovery firm where her role in business services and managing distressed businesses until sale, provided invaluable experience to build a solid business services practice.
She currently specialises in advisory services to privately held business groups. Judith's experience in taxation, superannuation, business management, business structuring including asset protection, estate planning, due diligence, cash flow budgeting and bank finance submissions, assists clients in managing their business. Judith has extensive experience with large private groups, working with the stakeholders to find sound commercial and taxation solutions.

Associate - Young Office - Sally Richard B Bus, DipFP, C.A, JP
Sally joined the Sydney practice in 1994. After returning to the country, she continued to work for the practice offsite until setting up the Young office. She has gained a wide range of business services experience when dealing with client groups, specialising in a wide range of taxation matters including income tax, GST, FBT, CGT, PAYGW/STP, land tax, foreign taxes and payroll tax.
Sally also has a talent for superannuation accounting, tax and compliance which covers the lifecycle of superannuation from accumulation phase to pension and estate planning. Together with her business services and cash flow budgeting experience, Sally also provides invaluable support for the Sydney clients and is available to service business groups in the Young district.
